One of our builder clients, David Cheney, wanted to duplicate the details from a 150-year-old-home for his own residence. From the supplied photographs, we created templates and workshop drawings that enabled us to reproduce timber windows and wooden doors that were identical to the original.

Some of our clients live in bushfire-prone areas, and this presents particular challenges when they also want to match detail existing a door or timber windows on their homes. One of Adelaide’s most respected architects, Pauline Hurren, often works with us on such properties.

Peter Engel, the legendary South Australian gardening guru wanted to renovate his 1920s farmhouse, as well as adding some extra improvements. He was referred to Tiana Joinery by a carpenter who had great respect for the quality of the products we make.

Owner builder/renovator Sam Di Fava decided to make extensive renovations to a Victorian-period residence. He particularly wanted to retain the character of the home, using quality timber windows and wooden doors that would give a finish closely reflecting that era.

What clients say

“I’ve used Tiana Joinery to supply timber windows and doors for my clients and have always been impressed by the quality of workmanship, the pricing and the efficiency with which the job was done.

I also find Tino and his staff personable, business-like and punctual, so it was logical to ask them to do the detailed and challenging work required on my own new home.

I’m extremely pleased with the result. With their meticulous attention to detail, they captured the feel of the period perfectly.”

“The work I do on heritage-style homes and renovations requires tradesmen who are meticulous in matching detail on the timber windows, front doors and interior entry doors. I’ve known Tino Basso for years and have always been happy with the products he’s manufactured for my clients.

He is friendly, cooperative and reliable, always really interested in the various projects. If there are any problems—which is rarely—they are always resolved in a professional way.

My clients are always delighted with the results and often give him repeat work. I have a lot of respect for Tino.”
